The results of developing a methodology for determining the content of the sodium and potassium oxides in microsilica powdered samples using atomic emission spectral analysis with the injection of powders into the arc discharge are presented. The achieved metrological characteristics of the described methodology are evaluated and possible ways of its further improvement are discussed.
