In the work, the possibilities of using binders based on epoxy systems with cardanol-containing Mannich bases (phenalkamine) to produce plywood were investigated. Methods for the preparation of phenalkamines are presented. IR and NMR spectra of the obtained products are presented. Laboratory samples of three-layer birch plywood have been made. The resulting plywood samples were tested in accordance with GOST 9624-2009 "Laminated glued wood. The method for determining the tensile strength when chipping". The influence of the ratio of the components of the epoxy binder on the tensile strength of shear on the adhesive layer of plywood (τск) is considered.
