The article is devoted to identifying in the text of V. Shalamov of lexical representations of the cognitive layers “Food” and “Clothes” of the concept of everyday life, reflecting the main cognitive signs correlated with the basic components of ordinary camp consciousness (changed living conditions, constant feeling of strong fear, deformed social relations). Everyday life is turned over by its opposite, since camp reality for a person is an antinorm.
