The issue of professional training of experts, who meet the needs of the contemporary job market, has in recent decades become a matter of a nationwide discussion. Nowadays not only must an expert possess professional knowledge but master a number of different universal competencies driven by the digital economy. One of those competencies is digital communicative competence. Its advantage is that it implies a system of skills, which enable using digital technologies to build effective communication in the digital environment, thus making an expert competitive within the contemporary job market. The issues of using innovative techniques (namely the techniques related to game training) while building digital communicative competence are becoming more and more relevant and meaningful in the context of discussing professional training that meets modern requirements of the job market. Pedagogical games offer unique opportunities for building and developing various competencies, including digital communicative one.
