FIELD: oil industry. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for controlling the consumed instantaneous power by a group of electric drives of sucker rod pumping units. The method is based on continuous recording during operation at a given speed at each unit of the signal of instantaneous electric power of the electric drive, calculating the duration of the period of the recorded signal of each unit, selecting the unit with the longest period as the base setting, determining the ratio of the duration of the period of each unit in the group to the duration of the period of the base unit, on the basis of the obtained relative durations of the period of formation of the speed correction signals of the electric drive of each unit durations of the periods of the recorded signals of all units in the group are aligned, the speed correction signals are summed with the signals of the set speed, on the basis of the updated registered signals, the calculation of the current phases of these signals relative to the registered signal of the base unit is carried out, the optimal phase of the recorded signals of each unit relative to the base one is calculated based on the condition of ensuring a minimum consumption of instantaneous power by a group of electric drives of the units and correction signals for the current angular position of the electric drive shaft of each unit are generated so as to achieve the calculated value of the optimal phase, used as additional speed correction signals. EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing peak loads of the electrical network supplying the electric drives of a group of units operating in a periodic mode with a variable load, by achieving the calculated value of the optimal phase of the instantaneous electrical power consumed for each unit. 6 cl, 2 dwg.
