The relevance of the study is imposed by the inconsistent translation labor market, changes in the external context of the professional translation experience and the need to reconsider the guidelines for professional training in this area in the context of the further professional education, from teaching translation technology to the formation of professional and extraprofessional skills that contribute to the development of personal qualities, increase competitiveness, and prevent professional burnout. Inclusion of models of an integrated approach to the educational process has a high potential in the implementation of effective teaching technologies. Results of the research aimed at identifying a set of effective principles and methods of teaching for further professional training are described, which allow increasing motivation in the learning process (especially in a mixed format), and graduates of retraining programs to act as regulators of interlingual communication. The training complex includes a series of exercises that develop soft skills, which were tested in 2021-2022. Empirical data showed sufficient effectiveness of the experiment and indicated the potential to continue research on integrating exercises into translator’s retraining programs in the long term. The effectiveness of the described training approach was also tested in conditions of forced isolation in the format of remote technologies.
