Digitalization of the financial environment is currently becoming a priority direction of national economic development for most countries. One of the key trends in the direction of digital integration is the introduction of digital currencies as a new form of money. The international experience of using digital national currencies testifies to the success of such projects and their high potential to improve the economic and legal field. In the Russian economy, the digital ruble, in addition to the positive effects for the processes of national character, is able to act as a solution to the problems arising under the current sanctions, economic and geopolitical restrictions.
