The article analyzes the main problems that occur during the procedure of technological connection of low power sources for parallel operation with a power system. It also examines the problems of providing the permitted operating modes of distribution networks, activities aimed at decreasing short-circuit currents, problems of organizing commercial accounting systems, relay protection and automatics, connection etc. The work lists recommendations for increasing the operation efficiency of both power unit and electric network.
