The article describes the metalanguage of T. Tolstoy's new prose on the example of the collection «Girl in Bloom». The writer explores the mechanisms of myth-making and the creation of artistic realities, designates various techniques of mythopoetics. Tatiana Tolstaya shows situations of solving artistic problems with the help of mythopoetics, as well as situations of manipulative use of mythologies by writers and artists.
