This article is devoted to analysis of the specifics of the development of educational institutions of secondary vocational education on the example of the Sverdlovsk region of the Russian Federation. The education system in the Russian Federation today occupies a special place vocational education. In the framework of secondary vocational education are trained skilled workers and mid-level professionals. These specialists today especially needs the Russian economy. Reforming of modern Russia it is connected with the introduction of various aspects of life of information technology. Today in the Russian Federation federal program «Electronic Russia», created by e-government. Federal Law «On Education in the Russian Federation» ordered educational institutions at all levels to organize and support the conduct of its own official websites. Doing sites today is an innovative technology in the education system of modern Russia. Features of educational sites in the educational institutions of vocational education are discussed in this article. The authors present statistical data, identify problems in this area of activity.
