The article reviews the conference "The Humanization of Modern Philosophy and the Humanitarization of Social Sciences" and summarizes the presentations that were delivered. The authors show how there emerge new forms of conceptualizing humanism and humanitarization in the context of contemporary philosophical discussions and debates in social theory, and what new trends in interpreting human being and his activity can be observed. In addition, it is highlighted that strict disciplinary division of labor in social and philosophical sciences, which was prevalent in the beginning of the twentieth century, looses its importance in the light of theoretical and methodological transformations.
