Patients with orphan diseases, interacting with charitable foundations, solve such difficult issues as the purchase of expensive drugs, payment for treatment. The relevance of this study lies in the need to analyze the activities of charitable foundations in the healthcare sector to identify problems that exist at the present stage of their development, to identify the possibilities of charitable foundations in helping patients with orphan diseases, including patients with primary immunodeficiency. The authors proposed the author's classification of charitable non-profit organizations operating in the field of healthcare and patient support.
