The article presents an overview of the conference “Multilingualism and Multiculturalism in HE communication spaces in the post-literacy era: experiences and prospects for development” held on November 16-17 in the Ural Federal University. The conference brought together researchers from different countries who dealt with various aspects of multilingual and multicultural phenomena. The scientifi c reports focused on the university educational processes and the resulting signifi cant changes in the post-literacy era.
