The article shows an approximate assortment of native plants, which is recommended for use in urban landscaping. When compiling the assortment, the authors took into account the floristic diversity of natural communities that have been preserved within the city limits and the experience of introducing plants of natural flora, which is available in the Botanical Garden of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The article presents species that are practically not used in landscaping, but are successfully grown in culture conditions, preserving decorative properties and the ability to seed or vegetative reproduction. These species differ in ecology, life forms, color of aboveground organs, timing and duration of flowering. The list includes endemic, relict and protected species in the Sverdlovsk region. The proposed plant species can be used in modeling natural communities in Yekaterinburg parks, or in landscaping areas corresponding to the ecology of the proposed species.
