The temperature dependences of the density, dynamic viscosity, ultrasonic velocity, resistivity of the liquid lead-bismuth eutectic are investigated over a wide temperature range. An anomaly in the temperature dependence of ultrasonic velocity and resistivity is found at 580 K. This anomaly is associated with the formation of groups of atoms of bismuth near the eutectic temperature. Here, the first time, we determine the isothermal and adiabatic compressibility over a wide range of temperatures.
