Widespread anemia and the presence of side effects of the existing iron-containing drugs require the search for new drugs. In an experiment on male Wistar rats, posthemorrhagic anemia was modeled by taking blood from the tail vein in an amount of 1.5% of body weight. Intramuscular administration of iron-molybdenum polyoxometallates to anemic rats in an amount of 1.5 mg / kg of mass contributed to a more rapid recovery of red blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit in the blood, iron content in the blood plasma and erythrocyte precursors in the bone marrow for 1-7 days compared to indicators measured in control untreated animals.
