Design and thermal work characteristics of modern energy-saving reheating furnaces for heating various types of metal products are presented. Developed by JSC “VNIIMT” furnace units correspond to modern requirements in terms of specific energy consumption, emissions and level of automation of technological processes. Furnaces were put into operation at various enterprises, their operating indices completely correspond the design data.
