The article carried out a morphological analysis of drawings from the album of architect S. V. Dombrovsky, created by him in March 1918. These drawings show the search for new architectural forms during the revolutionary transformation of the state. The drawings complement the niche between the period of classicism and the emergence of a new style of constructivism. A part of the drawings published for the first time is given.
