The article is dedicated to the analysis of methods and techniques used in contemporary Iraqi plastic art and the identification of stylistic identity in the works of Iraqi artists of the XXI century. The definition of the concept of "stylistic identity" is presented. The works of two Iraqi artists with the most obvious manifestation of stylistic identity are analysed. Methods and techniques in the artists' works in contemporary Iraqi plastic art were analysed and their influence on regional stylistic identity and the influence of regional culture on them was determined. Determined how stylistic identity manifests itself in contemporary Iraqi plastic art, how artistic techniques change accordingly, and what are the characteristics of stylistic identity of different historical periods of Iraqi art.
