The examples are considered of the authors’ strategy realization of steam turbines equipment design improvement. The strategy of work execution provides a solution to problems of reliability augmentation for power engineering equipment at the stages of design and manufacturing. Widespread use of modern information technologies, as the authors believe, is the one of the main methods for steam turbine units equipment improving.
