The article examines the features of the relationship between the Republic of Tajikistan and the states of Central Asian region. The relevance of the stated topic is primarily accounted for due to the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence of Tajikistan Republic and its economic and political achievements during this period, as well as the strengthening of its state power and the change in the role and position of Tajikistan both in Central Asia and in the world. In addition to this, another significant and important event was a warming of the political climate in the states of Central Asia, in particular: sudden death of the permanent leader of Uzbekistan - Islam Karimov and ascension to power of liberal S. Mirziyoyev, voluntary and early departure from power of the President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy N. Nazarbayev and peaceful "transit of power" in the country, resumption of dialogue between the countries and the beginning of the integration process in Central Asia. Improvement of economic situation of the countries of the region, transport infrastructure and optimization of investment climate have led to an increasing interest on the part of leading international and regional actors in this region (Russia, USA, China, EU, India, South Korea).
