A huge role in import substitution plans is played by valve manufacturing, and speci.cally the production of brass pipeline .ttings, since the share of such domestically produced products on the Russian market is currently less than 50%, and for some items is none. The article discusses the problems and features of quality control in the production process of ball valve semi-bodies at full-cycle enterprises and in cooperative work, and also substantiates the need to comply with temperature conditions in continuous casting and hot stamping operations.
