A mathematical model of evaluating the economic efficiency of the standby power devices to work as distributed generation (DG ) is viewed. Specificity of load regime is the limitation on the daily fuel consumption. The profit from production of electricity is considered as the objective function. Shown that optimal strategy for DG with fuel limit is to work with a marginal production cost pro rata to the current price.
