Phase diagrams were constructed for cyanoethyl cellulose (CEC) – DMAA, CEC – DMF, CEC – trifluoroacetic acid / methylene chloride, hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) – ethanol, HPC – DMPhA, poly-γ-benzyl-L-glutamate – DMPhA systems in magnetic field and in its absence. The magnetic field applying results in both the increase of the liquid crystalline phase appearance temperature and the change of the liquid crystal type from the holesteric to the nematic one. The ability of polymer macromolecules to orient in the magnetic field decreases with the increase of its molecular mass.
