The aim of the study is to identify both verbal and non-verbal representations of the concept LONELINESS in the English movie. Based on the idea of literary concept the author is presenting a new term - a “movie-concept”. The research also describes the role of the verbal component of the concept in the movie as well as the non-verbal component of the movie-concept.
