This paper examines the packaging materials used for sterilization and long-term preservation of medical devices sterility. The samples of medical devices were packed and subjected to steam and radiation sterilization. The packaging materials analysis was carried out using optical microscopy and scanning electron microscopy; in order to verify sterility, microbiological testing of medical instrument samples was performed at various times after sterilization.
