The article deals with issues related to the introduction of innovations in industrial enterprises. The influence of risk on the effectiveness of innovation activity is studied. It shows the data of the research of risk factors in industrial enterprises, on the basis of which conclusions are made about the level of risk in the field of innovative developments. The problems of implementing the risk management system in the industry are identified. The main approaches to the quantitative assessment of risks in the implementation of innovations have been developed. A statistical comparative analysis of the risk index in innovation and operational activity of the enterprise is presented.
