The article presents the results of the analysis of works that reveal the specifics of the design of the educational environment using the calculations and conceptual provisions of the representatives of the «organic» and sustainable («living») architecture of R. Steiner, F. Hundertwasser, R. Alexander and N. Salingaros. Based on these works and the author’s own ideas, the directions for improving and personalizing the educational environment for children with special educational needs are projected. Designing a specific educational environment is proposed to expand according to the scale (space as a whole, objects of the «average» level, the smallest objects and elements). The lack of elements of any level can be compensated for at the expense of augmented reality. Augmented reality also allows us to solve the issue of abandoning standard projects in favor of the author’s architecture. Part of this problem is found in the application developed by the authors of the article for the tablet and phone «Electronic Tutor», the improvement of which through the inclusion of elements of augmented reality and the creation of an educational-methodical complex on paper is the prospect of this work.
