Conditions for atomic emission spectroscopic determination oftrace impurities in graphite powder using fractional distillation in arc AC discharge are optimized. A PGS-2 spectrometer with MAES analyzer are used for spectra recording. The effect of the discharge current, composition and concentration of buffering agents, as well as sample dispensing process on the results of analysis is studied.
