The article considers the influence of the level of employee happiness on the resulting performance indicators of companies. The aspects that are components of employee happiness are listed. It is proved that «happiness» is a pragmatic indicator that can be measured quantitatively. The results of studies proving a direct relationship between the level of happiness of employees and the resulting performance indicators of the company are presented. The results of a survey on the level of happiness of employees in various professional fields in Russia, conducted in 2019 by the Head Hunter research service, are presented.
