The article describes the results of the empirical study regarding teacher’s communicative culture as seen through the eyes of the parents, whose children study in the secondary and high school. In course of the analysis of parents’ ideas of the types of teacher’s communicative behavior as a component of pedagogical communicative culture, it was revealed that in the parent’s minds all types of this behavior (constructive, destructive and ambivalent) are distributed evenly and differentiated quite clearly. The article shows that the parents’ views of the constructive and destructive types of the teacher’s communicative behavior are more categorical and unambiguous than the views of the teachers.
