The phase transitions and phase state of the HPC - DMAA system under static and shear stress field conditions have been studied. The solution deformation resulted in the change of solution structure and in the increase of the liquid - crystalline phase appearance temperatures due to the macromolecule orientation changing. The polymer molecular mass increase leads to the decrease of its macromolecules ability to orient in the shear stress field.
