In the article, the students’ views and opinions of the teacher’s communicative culture and its levels in the pedagogical process are analysed. As a result of the research it has been revealed that the levels of communicative ignorance are the easiest for students to differentiate, while differentiation of other levels (cognizance, competence and creativity) may seem to be problematic. The students’ conceptions of the types of pedagogical communicative behaviour have also been studied to demonstrate that clear pictures of constructive and destructive types of teacher’s behaviour are settled in the minds of students. After comparison of the results of different techniques, it was revealed that in the students’ minds destructive behaviour is associated with the level of communicational ignorance, while no certain connection of constructive behaviour with high levels of communicative culture was found.
