The aim of the study is to identify the main directions of psychological explanations of political processes, phenomena, events and relations. To achieve the purpose of the study used such a General scientific method as analysis and synthesis. According to the results of the study, the author came to the conclusion that in political science there are several thematic areas where psychological theories and concepts have been recognized. Psychologists have made a great contribution to the study of Nazism and political violence, the causes of revolutions and the phenomenon of leadership, as well as power.
