FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to uranium, particularly, uranium extraction from underground uranium-containing water. Method comprises dynamic sorption of uranium on a granulated sorbent containing phosphogypsum and schungite. Underground uranium-containing water with uranium concentration of 632.1 mcg/dm3 is used, as a granulated sorbent, a sorbent obtained by calcining phosphogypsum is used. Powder-like phosphogypsum and schungite are activated on vibratory shredder to size of 0.02 mm. Mechanoactivated phosphogypsum and schungite are then mixed with zinc sulphate solution with zinc concentration of 31.42 g/dm3 at weight ratio of phosphogypsum: schungite: zinc sulphate solution equal to 1:1:1. Obtained mixture is granulated to obtain granules with size of 3 mm and their drying at 100°C. Extraction is performed by passing underground water through sorbent at rate of 2 ml/min and at consumption of 1 g of granules of sorbent per 30 l of water. EFFECT: method enables to achieve high sorption capacity of uranium by using a sorbent.
