The article examines the problems of variability in the nature of labor organization in the digital environment, stresses the importance of studying the socio-technological nature with regard to the organization of digital labor caused by the need to improve the managerial efficiency in the area of establishing the projects’ output rates. The authors propose forms of projects’ output rates when these projects are implemented on the digital platform; these forms may serve effective tools for project managers who administer the work, helping them identify reserves for improving the productivity of IT specialists.
