The article examines a number of problems related to the study and preservation of Anna Akhmatova's epistolary heritage, substantiates the importance of including Notebooks in the process of studying existing and published letters of the poet, and also presents an attempt to classify them based on Akhmatova's personal strategy of variants and excerpts of letters preserved on the pages of Notebooks based on Akhmatova's personal strategy.
