The problem of the optimal location of two arbitrary polygons is considered. It needed to search for global optimization of non-smooth non-convex functional. We investigate the use of physical modeling for polygons motion in the field of various types of forces to locate the neighborhood of solutions and then to apply subgradient numerical methods.
