Innovative conception is proposed for the design of the two-revolution furnace gas regenerator used at glass smelting furnaces. The calculation parameters are given for both one-revolution and two revolution regenerators. It is shown how the furnace gas velocity affects efficiency of the regeneration heat exchange. The advisability of the two-revolution design for the heat-exchange regenerator is validated for glass smelting furnaces.
