"The article presents some statistical data on failures of ejectors and the impact of these failures on reliability characteristics of steam turbine unit as a whole. The article summarizes the main faults (malfunctions) in the ejector, found in steam turbine units of various sizes and in various operation conditions. A number of technical (technological) solutions is formulated as well as defects "inherent" or brought into the ejectors design at different stages of their life cycle, significantly affecting the efficiency and reliability of the ejectors service during steam turbine operation."
