A short overview of the structures of sensors measuring the deflections from straightness is given and some approaches to the solution of problems in the development of optoelectronic sensors are proposed. The requirements for the optical reference system and the characteristics of the photosensor are stated. As a result, the system proposed has a high measurement accuracy and a competitive cost.
