The complex estimation of metal products’ quality based on principles of the new science — qualimetry — has been carried out. The comparison of weighted arithmetic and geometric complex indicators, as well as the indicators obtained with the use of expectancy of indicators’ hitting in allowable intervals with an example of steel rounds was performed. It was determined that all the indicators had similar values.
