The issues of simulating the mechanical characteristics of induction motors for the construction of a dynamic system of the machine unit are considered. A simplified Kloss formula was used to construct a mechanical characteristic according to the engine catalog data. Methods for its correction for the possible use in starting, transient and emergency modes are presented. The modeling process was carried out analytically and implemented numerically in the Mathcad symbolic package. The relationship between the parameters of the electromechanical system and the angular velocity of the motor shaft is established by the method of parametric modeling. A comparative calculation of the mechanical characteristics was performed using both an approximate and refined formula.
