Introduction. With the development of technology and the introduction of digital solutions into urban infrastructure, it has become possible to implement projects aimed at improving the lives of citizens, environmental sustainability and resource management. However, an analysis of various scientific publications on the topic of promoting the concept of “smart city” has shown that there is a problem - the lack of a system of methods for promoting smart city projects. Research on the methods of promoting smart city projects can help city authorities, companies and public organizations understand how to effectively present and promote their ideas and projects in order to receive support and funding. The purpose of this study is to identify and systematize effective strategies and methods for promoting smart projects in an urban environment. Such methods may include various marketing and communication strategies, as well as methods for engaging stakeholders and the public. In general, research on this topic can significantly contribute to the development of smart cities and the use of digital technologies to improve the quality of urban life. Materials. The object of this study is promotion methods, the subject of the study is socio-economic relations for the promotion of smart city projects. Scientific articles on this topic indexed in the RSCI database for 2017-2023 were used as an information base. Results and conclusions. As a result of the research, the authors have compiled a table that presents methods for promoting smart city projects with a description of each method, as well as examples of the use of promotion methods with links to scientific articles. The discussion of the results showed the prospects of this approach to the systematization of methods for promoting smart city projects. Further research and development in this area can make a significant contribution to improving the mechanisms for promoting smart city projects and their successful implementation in the future.
