FIELD: strips producing. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing strips from non-dimensional pipe sections. Flattening of unmeasured pipe sections is carried out to obtain a flat profile and their subsequent rolling in rolls with a smooth barrel. At the first stage, flattening of the pipe section is carried out until a gap is formed between the opposite inner surfaces of the pipe. At the second stage, a sheet blank is placed in the gap, with a thickness less than the size of the gap. At the third stage, the flattening of the pipe segment is continued until the gap between the pipe segment and the sheet blank is eliminated to obtain a composite blank. At the fourth stage, the composite billet is rolled to the desired size in terms of thickness. EFFECT: possibility of utilizing pipe processing wastes and obtaining composite layered materials from them without the use of energy-intensive remelting processes is provided. 7 cl, 7 ex, 5 dwg.
