The development of digital technologies has inevitably raised the question of their application in arbitration. The range of directions for the integration of modern technologies is increasingly expanding following the achievements of scientific and technological progress. The study showed that digital technologies can play an important role in the development of a rbitration, reduce its costs, and shorten the terms of arbitral proceedings. There remain, however, risks and problems, solution of which is necessary for the further integration of modern means in arbitration. Artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies deserve special attention. Researchers argue about the possibilities and social justification of their use in the civil jurisdiction. The attitude towards artificial intelligence on the part of specialists is extremely restrained. However, the experience of some foreign countries, as well as Russian developments, indicate an increasingly active and inevitable integration of artificial intelligence into the system of civil jurisdiction. Currently, it makes no sense to ponder about the possibility of using artificial intelligence in arbitration, so the article presents an opinion at the potential and conditions for such an application. The key condition for this is the efficiency of legal protection.
