FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to isotope separation and can be used for enrichment of stable and radioactive isotopes to required concentrations. Proposed method exploits separation cascade including three-component separation steps for single-shot separation of multicomponent mix into three parts. Said cascade has flows of components isolation and one or several feed flows. Arbitrary component isolation flow of separation step gets to step feed with quantity of enrichments unity larger at equal enrichments in other components. Note here that at three sequential enrichment events for different components, starting from arbitrary separation step, the last isolation flow feed this step.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation and lower costs.
