SUBSTANCE: claimed is method of triphenylene synthesis by successive interaction of cyclohexanone with NaOH, polyphosphoric acid at first stage with obtaining dodecahydrotriphenylene, which is processed with catalyst in argon atmosphere at second stage. Continuous extraction with release of dodecahydrotriphenylene is applied at first stage. Palladium on sibunit catalyst is applied at second stage. In the course of reaction with catalyst highly pure triphenylene is sublimated onto cold surface.
EFFECT: method of synthesis makes it possible to obtain highly pure sublimated triphenylene with good output from available reagents.
