Research interests

Area of research: Supramolecular design of polyoxometalates (POM) and hybrid materials for photocatalytic application and for production of biocompatible hydrogels. The key working aspects are related to synthesis of covalent ensembles of Keplerate POM with both organic dyes (xanthene and oligopyrrole dyes: fluorescein, BODIPY, porphyrins) and the other organic functional molecules (fatty acids, aromatic compounds, amino acids etc.) by means of click-reactions
