Profile Information

The Faculty of Philosophy is the oldest academic unit of the Institute of Social and Political Sciences successfully combining academic traditions of classical liberal education with advanced methods of training. In addition to traditional scientific directions the Faculty of Philosophy offers such modern and sought-after areas of study as “Sociolinguistics”, “Esthetics: art-business”, “Social governance” and others.

Graduates of the Faculty of Philosophy have a wide range of career opportunities: they work for such organizations as the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, National Centre for Contemporary Art etc; many of them are engaged in business, teaching and research.
